Guess what? Never heard of him or his song - probably because I'm a Radio 3 addict. Then I spotted the 'Hugo on Welcome' link with its link to 'Sunscreen' - do like the way the YouTube video appears as a mini-site. I was expecting some form of rock music (anyone remember Family?) so was surprised to find one of those so-meaningful 'songs' by yet another Yank who talks rather than sings. Sorry Hugo, and any other fan of Lerhman, but canned it after half-a-minute. It's down there with Strauss waltzes and other mind-numbing drivel. But then, Hugo's not forgiven me for thinking that the film of 'South Pacific' was worth watching. (He's right - great in 1955, terrible today.) By the way, Hugo's desire to 'be happy and help people' is genuine.
